    trex 700 v2 do i need to disconnect red on cc 120 hv2 esc?

    trex 700 fbl v2 combo
    hi can someone tell me if i should disconnect red throttle cable on my cc120hv since I have the align ext 6amp bec with 7.4v lipo?

    No. It is an OPTO ESC. BEC or Rx battery required.
    Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
    Now too many Helis to mention?

      thanks for your reply. so the opto esc will sense there is power from an external bec therefore it will not feed any power to the gyro?
