hi, im running the old Align RCM-BL250SP 3400KV Brushless Motor in my 250 and think its time for an upgrade, but i buy the newer BL250MX and pay the extra cash and go for something else?...like the scorpion or hyperion.....would i see the benefit?

Going from the SP - yes you will notice the difference. The Hyperion is manic and I would say more powerful than the MX (not looked at any spec sheets though). The Hyperion does drain the battery more than the MX.
Either MX or Hyprion are good - just note with the Hyperion you do need to solder on new connectors (I'm not very good at that lol).

This is by far the most powerful motor I've ever tried in my 250. Its the only one I could find that holds 5000rpm governed @ 80%. Flight times are only 3 mins though
