  • G4 nitro to lecy

    Hey guys

Im thinking of converting my nitro G4 which has an os91 in atm..

Midland have the conversion items i want but was thinking about other stuff, ie motor, esc and batterys..

Here is the link to the conversion stuff on midland and as u can see there are options for motor, esc, and just one option for batterys there.

What do u guys think of the options and and which do u think i should go for..

It seems odd that they have the Align 600MX as a motor choice, I'm guessing it's supposed to say 700MX.

I have a Scorpion 4035 motor and Castle Ice 2 120 on my Rave ENV but have had very little flying time owing to other niggling little issues (not related to the motor or ESC).

The 4035 or the Align 700M / MX will easily give you more power than the OS91 (albeit probably a bit lower flight times).

ok kool , so with that motor i guess the ice2 120hv esc would be good and i can govern it in the esc ?

Yup, sounds like you'll be sorted nicely with those. I'm running the 600MX and 80HV ice2 in my fusion and bags of power. The ESC is really nice too.

Yeah the Castle Ice governor works quite well and if you set the correct info for main gear teeth and pinion you can dial in the headspeeds you want. The logs are handy for making sure you're getting the performance you want and that everything is working as it should.
