  • Tail blade clearance

Does anybody else find the tail blades catching the ground? I try hard to keep it level, but unless the ground is perfectly flat, i do catch the blades quite often. I landed on a tarmac runway the other day and with the wind it was leaning very slightly to the right. Soon as i touched down the blades clipped the ground. Only scraped the tips so far, so they still work fine. I feel the landing gear could be just slightly taller to reduce the chances, and as i said in my build thread, it would give the heli a more balanced look in my opinion, as i think they look too small for the heli anyway. Any disadvantages to having slightly larger skids?

Happens to me almost every time I land but I am still learning. I don't see the good flyers at the club doing it so I am assuming it is something I have yet to master  I always try to land stationary or if moving then moving forward but it still happens.

I have never touched the tail on any other heli. Its just this one seems to be very close to the ground.
