Who is running a Spartn DS760 on a Rappy 90? Just wondered what your gain values are. I have a wag on mine and im at a very low value and not too happy going much lower

Using a 8900g servo aswell btw
Some say my left nipple is the shape of a Raptor canopy.......... And that for fun I chase sheep in wellies 3 sizes too big. All I know is I am 3D Clod

I have the 760 on two Avros, a Beam E4 and a Rave ENV and I'm using a DX7 with all of them.

I swear by Spartans Trill, just amazed I had a wiggle on. I think the pullingthe boom out a tad will do the trick. i seem to remember reading about that trick a while back

Is that due to the TT needing a bit of play so it won't whip around inside the boom?

So far I think I have a 100% success rate with the 760 just working pretty much straight away. The Futaba GY601 and 611 also do the biz once I discovered that you have to look at the gain in the display rather than on the TX.

Aye thats what got me, ive normally just slung a spartan at the heli and it worked no issues. But it makes sense that the TT has a bit of movement to take the whip out of it. Ill try it again tomorrow.

Could it be the servo gone??? Ive not got another to try either.. Bollicks

How annoying. Is it a fast wag or just that mushy not holding type wag? My Spartans run about 70 ish in the DX7 gyro menu but that number may be meaningless to your TX.

I assume you definitely have the right pulsewidth setting for that servo?

Fast wag hun, Yeah as far as im aware servo is set correctly but Ill reset it all in a sec see if that works. Never had this with a spartan, They normaly just work

and its mounted soft foam, steel plate ,hard foam, gyro. Could it be the soft foam?

Hmmm, I suppose maybe it could be the foam but I would think only if there's a lot of vibrations where it's mounted. On my Beam 450 it's the hard foam/steel plate/soft foam and you can easily jiggle the gyro around but it holds rock solid. On the Avro and Rave they're mounted without the steel plate.

Yeah ive binned the plate at the min (gyro is on the boom holder behind the main mast.

One thing i did find was there was NO back lash on the tail drive gear. So ive slotted the holes and pushed it back a bit.

                            Right update

still barsteward wagging!!! all the mechanicals are smooth no binding, blades are within 0.1g of each other, Plenty of backlash on the pinions. Gyro set correctly, gyro mounted just soft foam to the boom mount block.

Im bloody lost!! Only thing ive not checked is the servo, because I dont have one here that I can try.

                            HELLLLLLLLLLLLLPPP
