    Vbar silverline GOV setup help

    Hi all,
    I am dire need of some help. I'm trying to get my vbar gov to work but no sucsess
    I'm using a mikado yge 160hv, all the sensors are plugged in correctly.
    Radio is a 14sg which I can only assume I have programmed something wrong with. When I spool up it goes straight to
    100% with no current rpm on vstabi (5.3pro btw).
    The idle up switch has no effect on the rpm. Curves are flat at 75 and 80.

    Do I need to programme the gov settings in the radio?

    Could anyone maybe share a rough setup for the 14sg with vbar gov pls?

    The only thing that needs setting in the tx is a flat line throttle curve. In the v-bar unit you should of selected electric governor then hit reset. Without changing any channel assignments you would then select that the governor is to control ESC channel. Then set a maximum required headspeed. Your tx required headspeed is usually in the 90% range as it is usually close to the max haedspeed set in the v-bar.

          r7008sb, it seems that when i activate a curve the vbar just requests full RPM, for some reason i cant get a current rpm reading either, but im guessing thats because the gov isnt engaging.

            Bit more info, my preset for the gov (which I though should come off the IU switch with my flat curve). But for some reason It is coming off my collective set in vbar to come off channel 8....

              Been in contact with mikado for most of the day trying to find a fix for this problem. after trying just about everything they gave me 1 last test to see if my phase sensor wasnt working on my YGE esc. and what do you know......the esc is duff.
              have to say mikado's customer service is top notch, very impressed !

              now im just hoping that fast lad will swap me a replacement or if im going to have to send it back to yge. im dieing to get this gobler in the air ! on the plus side i have learnt alot about programming my 14sg
