Are you running sbus or a standard receiver ??

If your using sbus just plug the single line into the vbar as shown in the manual and then follow the on screen instructions. It's very easy.

If you are using the 7008SB receiver then you'll want to use the S.Bus port, not the S.Bus 2 port.

So you have already tried making it work. So long as you did select S-Bus in the v-bar software and assuming you have it all cabled up coorectly, this suggests to me that you didn't power cycle the v-bar at the time it told you to.

I missed the "2".
