Danch,
Did you check my build thread? I didn't have the right ball link screws either. Heads stick out of the ball link. The only ones in the kit that did fit, weren't long enough. they were m2 6mm

I thought I read it somewhere but couldn't find it, how did you resolve it?

Found thr post, probably go though the same solution, hit another snag in that a screw snapped in the bottom bearing block, oh dear better order a replacement :(
I had the same, the threads are 2.5 mm so I found some 2.5 mm screws and they fit fine with loc tight of course. I'm
playing with where to place the electrics still.

Think I'll have a look through my spares & see if I've git some ;)
Bad luck with the screw in the bearing block. Funnily enough i had a similar problem with the motor mount and had to order a new one.
I like the numbered bags, but not sure their contents are stictly accurate.
After the build was finished i had quite a few screws and ball links etc left over. The ball links for the swash are a larger size than the ball links for the tail, so check that you have the correct ball link. The pre-made tail control rod also has ball links on it and you will not need the ones that you may or may not have used on the tail control already, so they will be spares!
I had a number of un marked packs of screws in the box as well, most of these were spares, so worth having a dig around and seeing if you have these also. If not i can have a check in what i have left for what you need and post it?
btw, the screw through the ball for the cyclic servos does sit proud of the ball and is supposed to be the M2x8 to accomodate the CF strengthener. I didnt use the CF part, but the additional length of screw doesnt impinge on anything.

I had a few spare 2mm & 2.5mm caped bolts in mine where i havent used them for the servos.
Had a pack of screws and fixings in my frame pack that seem spare now.
Had probs with wiring the vx1 up but thats my fault from not reading instructions. Must read Instructions it usually helps...
Once im happy ill take the bolts out and thread lock everything.
I had a spares packet too, with loads of screws. Just none that would sit flush in the ball links and be long enough to fit through the servo arms even without the carbon plates. But as i have it now, its working perfectly well.
