Just curious, has any magazine or review website done a comparison of a few popular blades to see which is more aerodynamically efficient?
It would be easy to do with an electric helicopter by measuring the amp draw to spin each pair of blades at the same headspeed. It would be interesting to see, for example 4 or 5 pairs of 600mm blades and spin them at a couple different headspeeds and measure the amp draw at zero pitch and then at various degrees of pitch applied.
