  • Trex 600 EFL PRO

Finished the build of my Trex 600 EFL PRO today and did a little maiden by the pool area. I wasn't happy with it at first until I started tweaking the Normal Throttle settings. Need to get to the field tomorrow or Sunday and try it for real.

Just sold mine, but it was a brilliant model. Flew like my 700e.

Only thing is I couldn't see that canopy, it looks great on the ground but black in the air.
    Cheers,
    Simon

Really love my 600e pro, just wish I had more time and better weather to get out with it.

What Throttle Curves are you using Dan? Blowing a GALE today, so probably not the best day for a proper Maiden? Clear BLUE sky though and LOADS of SUN.

Had my 600 for 18 months and haven't flown the 500 since I bought it.
Using the castle governor at 1800, 2000 and 2200. Getting an easy 7 minutes with 3300 batteries at 1800 h/s.

Can anyone recommend a canopy for better visibility?

                  Trex 600 EFL PRO

I painted mine myself does the job!

I don't govern mine just run 85/85/80/85/85 , 95/95/90/95/95 & 100% flat. I never use 100% and mostly fly in normal mode for my 3D to be honest. If I nurse it I can get over 6 minutes on 3300s, sometimes more if just doing basis hovering orientation stuff.

                  Absolutely superb heli IMO.

hi, running linea on normal (0-inh-50-inh-100), st1 (85-inh-80-inh-85), st2 (100-inh-95-inh-100), everything is stock from the box except the beastx instead of 3gx. Not using gov mode just these curves and they work fine for me, st1 for sport flying and a leisurely pootle about, st2 for 3d, but I'm no hard 3d'er but the heli comes a bit of an animal in st2 and quick too! cheers Dan

Thanks Dan. I am used to fast. But I prefer a slower, smooth 3D. Sounds like Idle 1 for me.

Well the SUN was shining and the expected high winds and rain were not in evidence. Calm winds and reasonably clear sky was perfect for a Maiden flight.
First attempt at Idle 1 at 75% straight and Idle 2 at 85% straight was both very docile. Made Idle 1 85% and Idle 2 95%,still docile. I have more power in my MCPX.
What am I doing wrong? Perhaps my Low Gov mode should be HIGH? Or maybe no Gov and just Throttle curves? Or perhaps the CC80HV that I bought secondhand is CRAP? Everything else is new including servos, Motor, Airframe, AR7200BX and LIFE for Rx.

I did what I thought was the sequence for the programming mode. Does that not take into account high and low throttle? Or do I have to put the Throttle Trim to full as I saw mentioned?
