  • Futaba 7c governor mixes

Righto just wanna make sure ive got my mixes right in my 7c for 3 diff head speeds with an align g600 gov. Head ratio is 8.27:1

gov is on channel 7 and when switched on will give me 1500 headspeed and an endpoint of 35%, and I want the head speed to increase when I use the two idle ups

So I have a mix on idle up switch centre position
    Master ch3
    slave ch7
    with slave value +11%

so by my recconing ill get an increase to 1800 rpm and no change on anything else. And a total end point of 46%

and in idle up 2 I have it
    Master ch3
    slave ch7
and a slave value of +20%

and by my recconing ill get a head speed of 2000rpm and a total end point of 55%
Am I thinking correctly here OR when you add in the mix is it a percent of the value already and not a percent of TOTAL travel like I think it is??

    Any help welcomed

When I set mine up I didn't do anything with the end points on channel 7, so they were left at 0 - 100, so I'm not sure what you mean regarding total end point.

It's been a very very long time since I set one up, but from memory your % settings are too low. The column that you need to use from the Align manual is the one for the T14MZ, so in order to get the required headspeeds you need to have a setting of around 63% for the 1800 headspeed and then around 77% for the 2000 headspeed. You also need to ensure that the Mix value isn't set to INH for each IU setting as the default is to have the governor inhibited.

        Cheers steve!
When i refer to end point I mean the out put on the channel not the end point, my mis wording of that. The end points are still at 100 but the throw as it were is the percentages ive put above!

I will print your suggestions off aswell and will test it all when my engine arrives this week.
