    HC3-SX receivers

    With the HC3-SX would I be better off with using 2 x satellite receivers or using a full receiver and the wire loom?

    I already have 2 Spektrum satellites I could use straight into the HC3-SX or I have a 6 channel spektrum I could use instead. Which is best?

    Is 6 channel OK or do I need a 7channel?

    Mate as long as the HC3-SX is ver 1.07 use sats. Less electronics and to be honest the actual receivers are the sats, the bigger box part is just a common bus and pass through.

    HC3-SX is superb, very stable, helps you learn quicker and can save you a fortune in crash costs.

      7 channel is best, as you can keep the gyro between heading hold and rate, and also have the self-levelling/bail out on the 7th channel.

        Definitely use sats makes the setup and wiring much simpler. Also as has been said make sure you update to the latest v1.17 ​firmware.

          Stanley, if I just use sats can I use 7 channels or am I restricted to 6?

            says in your sig youve a dx8 so would imagine youd get all 8 matie!

              Depends what sats you use - DSM2 you get 7 and with DSMX sats you get 8

                I have DSM2 sats. Is it worth getting 2 DSMX sats or would the DSM2 sats do?
