    Bobbles/bounce

    Hi all, happy new year.
    Since upgrading my trex 550 by putting a 600 boom and maverikk 550 blades on, the heli seems to have a bobble/bounce when doing hard stops, i.e tick tocks, more on aileron than elevator tick tocks.
    I've tried reducing the gains but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

    probably dampers are not man enough for the job now.

        sorry i'm not clued up on align 550's to comment on damper choice. you could simply shim the ones in there already to see if it makes any diff.

          Have you run the cyclic optimiser since the change,it's job is to remove these problems?

            Optimiser it on and I reset it after the upgrade

                  thats quite low head speed on a 550 if im not mistaken!

                      On which axis are you getting the bounce? Is it bobbling on the aileron axis or the elevator axis. The longer boom may be affecting the elevator axis, if you have not changed the gains since fitting the longer boom. Even though it appears to bounce more on aileron tics tocs, you may find the bounce is actually on the elevator axis.

                      This is only a suggestion as I had something similar on my machine, so can't say it's this for sure.
