    anyone tried the 700mx and 750mx?

    i'm debating getting a more powerful motor for my 700e. if i understand correctly the 700mx 510kv i have now is near as damn power wise with the scorpion 4035. i ran a scorpion 4035 before in an E7 briefly and wan't more power than that as it will barely keep up with my ys120.

    something a bit more power would be good without going mental hence my asking.

    also going to look at the scorp range but not sure what.

    Scorpion 4525 520 kv ultimate. YY wind problem solved.

    Saying that the 750 mx is very good too.

      Hi Just stuck a 750mx in one of my goblins to replace the 700mx I did have in there, when we get some flyable weather I will gladly tell you how it compares and what its like against my 4525-520 Next D thats in my other goblin. They both have scorp 130 ESC,s so should be a good comparison.

        Forgot to say with the 4525 Next D is like hitting the heli with a huge tennis racket when you gun it the 700mx was not. There was not much in the flying times.

          Jason. That next D versions a re badged ultimate I believe. It's a real monster too.

            I would go for the 750mx 530kv, So much power at 2150RPM on the head without being completely mental

                Using Opti 30c 5000's on the ultimate equipped 7hv. For my flying at 2100 6.5 mins coming down around 20%.


                The few times its been spanked by more capable 3d pilots about 5 5.5 mins

                Can't comment on the 750 mx as it hasn't been spanked yet.

                  Hi with the ultimate Timer is set at 5.00 mins comes down at aprox 25 % with a mix of 3d and some very fast flying using opti 5000 12s and Flight tech xs5000 which have been the best batts I have owned.

                    Only done a couple of quick climb outs with my Goblin which is fitted with a 750mx. Didn't seem to lack any grunt !!

                      Hi just a quick update flew my yellow goblin today with the 750mx scorp 130ESC, I ran a mix of 2k and 2.2k on the head first flight mainly rainbows and tick tocks second flight more gentle trying diffrent settings in the banks etc. The 750mx feels to have a lot more power than the 700mx and gave the heli a very good punch when asked. The power was enough without being greedy. The timer was set at 5.00 mins and the packs had 12% and 22% after the two flight. The motor was warm after the flights but not hot and the esc was stone cold. The scorpion comes down very warm. The scorpion seems to use less power ? from the packs but still has the edge on grunt a quick look at the specs shows nearly the same continuos power rating at approx 4450 W but the scorp can pull 10200 W against 7260 W. I can only think the scorp has higher efficiency so uses less power ? I am using the 21 tooth pinion on the 530kv align and the 22 tooth on the 520kv scorp.

                        thanks for update.

                        i have flown the 700mx twice now and i'm happy enough with power just now. it is close to the YS120 at start of flight (700mx has a bit more) so that'll do. i took the pack down to 26% after 4 mins of fairly wild flying so i have no room to spare as i don't want less than 4 mins and nor do i want to goto 5000mah packs as it is already heavy with 4000's
