help!! with Phoenix on tv

    help!! with Phoenix on tv

    Hi guys, when I go on the sim I some times plug my laptop into the TV but it glitches a lot was just wondering what HDMI leads your all using and which ones seem to work best.

    Jamie all laptops will glitch, if you dont keep the mains power lead pluged into the laptop, try it, plus the picture is much better.

      Are you using full screen or a window?

      Mines pants in a window but full screen is fine.

        cheers Ross, I just tried it is a bit better but still does it but tbh the hdmi lead I am using was very cheap.

            What resolution can your laptop go to?
            You might have to adjust the tv refresh rate if you can.

              Try lowering the resolution in phoenix can help but you will lose a bit of the screen.

                thanks for your help guys, I have just had a play around with the graphics quality setting and that seems to of done the trick.

                  i use a £2.99 lead from Amazon and its perfect - no such thing as a cheap lead

                  both which and the gadget show have done reports on there being no or little difference between a lead for a couple of quid and a monster cable for £80
