    can you charge through the balance lead

    i have a scorpion backup guard and need to charge it but i dont have a clue how to as on the instructions it says to charge it through the balance cable can you do this on the pl8 if so ho do you do it i have the mpa board

    Yes you can charge it through the balance lead , you need to select fma wiring in the charger then the small balance preset , select no when it asks bananas being used, charge at 500ma I think the back up guard is , will only work with the standard balance board you get with your pl8 , not the large xh wiring board .

      ohh right can you buy adapters from the jet -xhr to the one on the pl8 borad ? not even sure what connecter that is :S haha

        All I know is you need to charge it through the standard board that comes in the combo to do it through the balance lead , I cudnt get it to work on the bigger mpa board you have .

            This is what you need.

            I had the same thing with my little 430mah 2s lipo which I use as a buffer.

                OK rather than create a new thread I'll chime in here.

                I have 4 of the boards Ben linked to, and I parallel charge all my big lipos with them 4 at a time. I've got 6 opti 430mA 2s lipos for my 130x and so I want to charge them through the balance leads as I don't have a cable for the main leads, but the PL8 doesn't give me the option to use or not the banana leads? What do I do to get the option?
