Depends on what your doing, as a 550 you can run it on 6s 5000. At 600 or as most seem to run 620 blades you run it on 2 of 6s 3500 ish packs. Other then that there's not much difference.

That was my plan when I got a Fusion. I had an Outrage 550 and it worked very well on a 6s setup. Then I sold the 550 airframe and got a Fusion and just moved over all the electrics from the 550 but I upgraded the motor from a Hacker A40 10L ET to a Scorpion 4025/1100.

At first it was down on power as I still had the same settings in the ESC for the Hacker motor but then after changing the timing settings it was much better. The Fusion airframe is a little above the ideal weight for a 550 really, it's about 300/400 grams more than the Outrage 550 (which was about the same weight as a Trex 550 at the club).

So my plan was to convert it to 12s and keep it 600 size but I didn't get round to doing that and then I swapped it for something else. I really like the Fusion though, it's very nicely arranged so that it's easy to change LiPos, it looks great and it flies really well, I was actually surprised how straight it tracks and how precise it feels.

I think with the right gearing and high C Lipos it would be allright on 6s but going 12s you'd have a lot more options.
