I see Quique Somenzini f3a & 3r plane legend has endorsed the latest dx18 is this still suitable for helicopters or has this now been turned into an aero only set?

Its still got the same Heli programming Martin , just some added plank stuff , some pretty interesting Jet stuff on it if your into that sort of thing . Trouble is its a Spectrum PMSL

I have only been in the hobby 2 years so must have missed the big problem with Spektrum gear. Other than the issues with the DX8, but i just saw that as an isolated incident. I would have went Jr & the xg11 but I have 5 rx's to substitute so if I do, that's going to cost a minimum of £60 an rx which makes it too expensive. I've been chewing this over for a month now & still I don't know what tx to plump forOriginally posted by Disc View Post

tbh, I don't think u need loads of channels for heli. Most fly vbar or beastx, how many channels can be used with these systems?
I compared the Dx18 with the XG11 in the shop, and I personally think the JR is better quality.James

Name me a manufacturer that has never had problems? I used to fly JR equipment but have used Spekky for over 3 years now and I have experienced nothing but impecible relaibility and service from them. Hats off to HH they are undoubtably the world's market leader now and you dont win that title for having shite products.Happy flying!

theyve gone DSMS now Steve same principle as poootaba frequency hopping & are not backwards comparable with any of the DSMX or DSM2 stuff so I may as well go pootaba but I hate the style of the 8fg & your 12 ffg just didn't feel nice in my hands when flying your helis ie compass sport back last year.Originally posted by xygax View PostMartin
