    Optipower ULTRA pricing released.

    Pricing and info released today.

    Im glad the 5300's 6s are going to be released as well as the 5000 6s as every little helps

    I have been testing these these for a while in my TDR backed up with data logging from the Kosmik and also using them in the Rush 750 although not data logged in that.

      No, sorry they were for testing purposes only and only for Opti.

      When the packs are released I'll provide some then with release packs
      + 7 x Eddies finest EGS's

        So the 5000mah were tested at 250 amps constant then?

          I'll be happy if they've fixed the puffing problem. Yes I know it doesn't affect anything, blah, blah. But when my expensive opti's bloat and my cheapo turnigys don't there's always a niggle in the back of your head.

            Yes, same here.

            Turnigy 3000mAh still giving the power and not the slightest sign of any puffing. 115 charges.
            Optipower 3500mAh started puffing at 35 charges, now getting worrying at 55 charges.
            All on the same TRex 500 and same flying conditions.
            All balanced charged the same way and never above 4amps charge rate, usually only done at 3amps charge rate.

            OptiPower have seen these and advised me they are still OK to use.
            I have grave doubts now.
            I don't like having them around like this and fear the worse might happen.
            Thinking of retiring them and going over to more new Turnigy at half the price and twice the life so far.

            Big expense for absolutely no gain.

              Hope they have anti puff ingredients for all the potential customers one of which I would never be again.

              My 550 puffed both my 6s 5000 Optis by 28 cycles,Turnigys last much longer than that for half the price.

                        I'll get in contact with them. The pricing is very competitive as long as they do actually deliver the required performance.....
