Guys can somebody tell me how to setup a buddy box with two dx6i's... Never done it before but got the cable today so want to give it a go tomorrow...

Hey.
It can be done, but takes a little more time than the higher end spectrum sets as you need both transmitter model memory setup the same. This includes all sub trims, dual rates, travel limits etc.
The DX7-8's are easier to buddy as the master set is put to pilot link master and the student transmitter to slave and becomes only a set of control sticks.
