    3D Champs Pictures

    I've just uploaded some pictures from the weekend to our club forum.

    It's been an absolutely superb weekend despite the cold weather on Saturday night and today. Well done to Rob and Edders for the organisation. I thought the alternative field was brilliant despite the sun being in the pilots' eyes. It seemed that everything was "closer together". The night flying was awesome on Saturday night. Roll on 2013!!!

    Well done to all the competitors - they all did extremely well today with the brisk wind!!!

      It's strange how many heli pilots used to race RC cars as well!!!

                Yes great pictures there Paul, it was a cracking weekend.

                Was good to meet you (in the burger van queue) too Rob, considering there were probably loads there off this forum you're the only one I can now put a face to the name! Hopefully at the next event/fly in I attend I'll meet some more of you guys.

                  Not sure I've put this in the right place, but here's a bit of a montage of the weekend. You're welcome to flick through the first bit of my club mate flying his MCPX up near the cabins and then my other club mate who was trying to find his cabin whilst being very drunk on Friday night!!!

                  The night flying didn't come out too well, but you get the gist. The "wing" with the LEDS is my club mate Nobbycopter.

                    Shhhh.....don't tell them it was me flying a plank at a heli comp...you'll get me lynched

                    If you did see it flying then I can only apologise for the poor flying...my excuse is that I'd only bound it to my new (to me) DX7 and flown it for a minute the eve before so it wasn't properly trimmed, kept wanting to go right a bit....
