My 450 needs a replacement ,the warp will be a perfect candidate. It is just a matter of electronics transplant.

I think it's beautiful and a work of engineering art. I'd buy one just to look at, but I'm worried about spares availability and cost

I will see how fragile they are first, the 450 pro will take some beating IMO

Remember probably 90% of ppl flying rc helis don't have the necessary skills to push this heli to it's limits so why even bother getting one. It will be another money pit with extortionate prices for spares.

Since when I have to have a certain set of "skills" to buy a heli? Only one I can think of is how to earn money in efficient way ;)

We buy these machines because we can and want to spend money on toys. Spare prices on a 450 is not really relevant if you are in this hobby.

Really nice heli, if I ever total my mini protos, I'll look at it :).

Don't get me wrong if you got cash to blow then go for it, it just irritates the hell out of me how manufacturers make something that is in reality unstable even more unstable then give it to a really good pilot, he makes it look good then ppl buy it and it's so bloody fast that most of the time it sits on the bench waiting to be fixed.

                  Just my two pence worth.

Edit, I'd put wallet warnings on heli boxes, "Warning Flying RC Helis will serious damage your wallet" :joyous:

Mate. If that's how you feel about flying helis then your in the wrong game. I've been flying now for 2.5 years and spent thousands on crashes. If you can't afford to crash why bother??

Not sure where your getting this unstable thing from either? How's it more unstable? It's swinging 350-360mm blades so I'd say it's going to be even more stable than the currant crop of 450s out there.

Also. Not sure on crash costs as the prices are not out yet, however saying that prices for spares for both my 6&7 hv are very reasonable. 7hv boom=£5.46.
You might also want to know that it runs on 6s 1300 mah packs and with the right esc can run stupidly low head speeds equating in long stable flight times.

3rd year flyin compass and I have always had spares delivered the next day! Thats on a 6hv and a 7hv. A friend has an atom 500 with the same exp. Infact I would be suprised if any of the regulars on here like Heathy ( he really is a drain on the uk spares stock!) Chucky and cupracing have every had to wait for spares on any compass line. I think there was a problem back in the day when the UK distribution changed hands ( 3-4 years ago). So dont let it hold you back.

I still think this size and power setup is the next big thing. If it takes off ( pun) big time in the states ( which I think it will ) everyone and his dog will be jumping into this gap in the market. Reminds me of the 6hv release. I think it was one of the 1st if not the 1st 12s kits out.

Its this or the 6hv mk2 ( when it finaly gets released). It would be perfect for those days you cant be bothered to lug the 7 down the field.

Andy mate! You and this heli were made for each other. I tell ya what. I'll get one and bring it over so you can have a play on it. You'll be on the phone to Steve that night lol.

This (warp) will make my fleet 3 vs 2, in favor of compass. As everybody said, if you need spares, ring Steve and guaranteed your spares will turn up the next day.

I had a Compass 500 kit (with motor and ESC) about a year ago and I was worried about costs so sold it on unbuilt. Wish I had gone ahead with it as I love the Compass design and the Warp looks great too!

Well that looks great, looks, sounds and flies like a much bigger heli. Any ideas on price yet?
