    Pinion

    Hi all,

    Just checking before I order that I'm getting the correct pinion. I'll be using a 12S setupoon a 4035-560kV with a CC80 HV ESC. I'm aiming for a HS of 1900-2100 on 30C packs.

    12T 6mm?

      Fast Lad Performance Headspeed Calculator

      Result for calculation:
      Estimated lowest voltage during flight: 40,92
      Lowest RPM (due to voltage and efficiency) : 1918

      Castle program warning that max is at: 1977
      a little over that is OK, it's just a warning


      13T:

      Result for calculation:
      Estimated lowest voltage during flight: 40,92
      Lowest RPM (due to voltage and efficiency) : 2078

      Castle program warning that max is at: 2142
      a little over that is OK, it's just a warning

      I'd start with 12T, if not enough which I doubt then you can go 13T.

        Thanks, I used the exact same calculator but was on the midlands site. I've ordered 12T and 13T just in case

        I'll be using the governor on the CC 80 HV ESC.

          Harry your 13t should be fine I will do the esc for your motor and pinion.
