    Canomod Canopy's

    Has anyone had problems with paint flaking off?

    I was given 2 Canomod canopy's from the local shop, and both of them have problems, if the cano is fitted there are visible cracks in the paint that you can pick off, it's like the paint is not stuck to the fiberglass, I know the quality of Buckers (Phil's) canos are great, but canomod sell so many and i think it strange for me to have 2 that are bad!

    Yes my 600 canopy had postage stamp size chunks fall off around the canopy mount holes, not happy for the price you pay for them!!!

        the canomod canopies are very thin and weak and very flexable
        the flexing i beleave is what cracks the paint
        evryone of my canomod's have cracked/chipped
        the best after market canopies i've had are a sab one on a freya and a carbon copy one on a sceadu
        but they are old now and i boubt if they could be replaced
        anyone know if carbon copy are still around these days?

          Same on my canomod canopy 450. I certainly won't be spending good money on them again!

            I'm hoping Fusuno are more flexible than canomod and don'T flake, can anyone confirm this?
