  • 700e V2 carbon tail push rod

Test flew my 700e V2 today and when it came to set the tail pushrod out of heading hold it turned sharply to the left, I landed and noticed that both the plastic links were screwed in fully and would not go in any further. I am thinking that I have fitted the wrong ones as they appear to be too long.

Am I ok to change them for the DFC shorter ones as this looks like it will give me the correct tail deflection to hold the model out of heading hold.

    Thanks Arwel.

    Hey.

Yes, you shouldn't have any problems with the DFC links. As long as they screw onto the carbon push rod ends securely you're good to go.
You could always shorten the existing links to allow them to screw on further, again making sure the threaded ends do not bottom out in the link and still sit securely on to them.

I've got the DFC links on my 700E DFC tail push rod, although I substituted one for a Rocket City plastic link (which I shortened slightly) as using two DFC plastic links meant I had to have them unscrewed a few mm which I wasn't to sure about.
