That is too much power for one photo!! That motor heatsink mount is just awesome, I wish they did a similar thing for the Logo range.

The goal is to beat 149.5mph which is the Official world record for an Rc helicopter in this class and to have a ball trying just in case we don't succeed lol
The power consumption is gonna be huge. A full 2mins flight approx will drain 2 x 6s 5000 packs. It will be under about twice the strain that even Tareq can dish out

I am very interested in how the packs will perform, whatever you use. I need to buy new packs and can't decide which ones, I need something which will sustain a LE motor and for time being looks like only TP 65C and Hyperions 45C are up to the task.
There is no better test than a speed run with a big motor imo.

Your right Michal, there is no better test than speed runs. When I get it dialled in I will be drawing more out of the packs than even Tareq on his hardest smack down, about twice as much. I will be depleting packs in around 2:10 according to figures worked out by the guys at Opti using this motor, ESC and pack.
Im using Opti 6s 5000 packs of course. + 7 x Eddies finest EGS's
