    600EFL + KDE Motor Mount

    After flying the 600 again today, I'm really not liking the insane headspeed at the start of the flight especially (CC log stated 2650rpm), I'd say that was being conservative!

    Running the gov allows you to run 2245rpm with a CC ESC, not really enough. Hence looking at using the KDE Motor Mount and Pinion Support with a larger pinion.

    Anyone else doing the above, work Ok?

    Some people are running a higher headspeed on the gov regardless of the warning given in the software - I think it was 2350.

      Will give that a go.

      Otherwise I'm going to have to fork out £50 just so I can go up a couple of teeth on the pinion.

        Just been out with a governed 2350rpm headspeed, much better!

        Ideally it needs to be around 2450rpm IMO, but I'll settle for the current setup.

              Been having loads of people mentioning not being able to get rcha on mobiles lately Paul.
              I'm using safari & have no issues whatsoever in using the site can you not use safari & view the main site?

                I've played around with the settings on mine, and I've settled on 95% V-Curve non-governed! Runs the HS at about 2450rpm which is the sweet spot for this heli IMO. As for the tail, I'm currently running KBDD 105s. This is on a non-DFC head. Great combo. I just want Align to get it together and release the correct gearing for the tail so I can go back to the 95s.
