Zeal Tape ?????

    Zeal Tape ?????

    I need some "Zeal Tape" it seems to mount my FBL unit on the 600N it seems. This is a gel tape apparently and am told is similar to "Blue Align Gel Tape". But where do I buy it?

    Advised as being best way to isolate vibrations - Zeal tape, metal plate, gyro tape, FBL unit.

    Any ideas? Thanks

    Zeal is an excellent isolator for extreme vibration problems but can be sometimes far too spongy giving worst problems even if really strapped down tightly.

    Really on a Trex 600 you shouldn't need to go this extreme.Try and fine the cause of the vibration.

    I still use this on my SpectraG gasser,strapped down and did use it at one point heavily strapped on my 700N.

    The 700N is now on a different V Bar sensor with standard supplied pads as is my 600N.

    Regarding getting hold of some,I think I ended up getting mine from the US.

        What fbl unit is is it? Had a beastx on my 700 gasser on align gel strapped. On my velo 50 I have a sk540 hard mounted.

          Hard mount the Beast up front on 2 or 3 layers of Maplin double sided. Hasn't missed a beat in neraly 2 years, you shouldn't need to strap it down nor any of the isolation plates. These will cause more problems than solve them. IMO of course

            The only place I found zeal was in the US ZEAL Vibration Absortion Sheett's slightly denser than the blu align stuff.
