    spares help, boom clamp

    Hi all,

    Bit of a long shot but does anyone have a tail boom clamp they want to sell?
    AVANT BOOM CLAMP | Midland Helicopters Ltd

    The lugs have broken off mine in a crash.
    Or does anyone have a tip on how to get around this?

    The spares issues with avant are becoming a joke!! NO stock on the most common parts that go in a crash. I spoke to Trevor at Midlands and he said its Avant not getting parts out the door

    What diameter boom is it?

    I don't have an Avant one, but have a couple of other makes going spare - one might fit maybe?

      Hi Jon
      What we do is drill a small hole were the lug was and then screw in a set screw, screw it all the way through till the end is were the lug used to be. We have done this for a while now and makes removing the boom allot easier and you can leave the clamps in place.
