Im struggling to get my opti 3500's out with slight puffing,velcro straps are snagging on the frames.
im loving my 700 with lighter packs so will use turnigy 3300 or sane spec gens on my next purchase

Where can I get a good selection on Gens? Giant shark only have the 4000mah hence my question.

What Paul says,order now and you will have them tomorrow,2 3300 6s cost me £102 as Chris will only send special del.cells are all tested before they leave.Mine were perfect,highly recommended

oh,they come with connectors of your choice if he does them complete with the ones for esc/charger

To clarify the connector is in the bag for you to solder.

Ec5 is what they come with from factory soldered on already.

These fit in the 600?

Just bought the 600EFl and want to see if the Gens Ace 6s 4000mah pack fit in the 600 too..

What size are the packs? I think you might struggle with a 4000mah, but it all depends on the pack size i suppose!

This is quite strange but I've found that my 2700mah optis leave 25% left after 4 1/2 minutes, and my 3300mah aligns and 3000mah turnigys have just under that after the same flight time - so I'd think that the extra weight of 4000mah would negate the 'potential' extra flight time that they could offer.

I've only just ordered it from Germany, won't be ready for a couple of weeks at least

The lighter/smaller packs work well in the 700, may try the same principle in the 600.

I use Overlander 4400 and they fit with no trouble... they don't puff at all either so they slide in and out easy. Knock spots of the Optipower... its like night and day the difference. So anyway yeh, 4400 fit and they are the same dimensions as the opti 5000. Just make sure to tuck the balance plugs away so as not to snag.

Plus.... The extra weight?? Its all good trust me... it does not make a difference at all. Because the Overlander packs are so much better than the Opti the heli flys absolutely amazing with the 4400. The extra weight if anything seems to help with overall cog. The extra power in the overland far out weigh the extra weight they add on

I did start with the Overlander and read a lot of people say they are too heavy, so i went for the Opti's to see the difference. Its just not the same machine and lacks power, so went back to the Overlander extremes, never looked back
