  • Logo 600 se ?

A while back i was looking at getting an xxtreme, but cannot bring my self to spend that much cash on a heli for the time being.

im wanting a 700 size bird and have read good things about the 600 se.

What are peoples opinions about it? other options i think are the ~Trex 700e gaui X7 compass 7hv and MA whiplash.

from all accounts the 7hv is the best.....what do you all think ?

i flying light 3d and mostly sportflying with loops rolls and cubans

I'm in a similar position. I keep telling myself £3000 for a Heli is too much.

I actually like the look of the new Align 700E DFC that should be out soon. I think it will come with a big motor and be HV. .

    I have a logo 600 3D but need another.

The trex has come on and the V3 does look like one to watch especially as it will be direct servo to swash control.

Flying anything more than light 3D I think the 600se would be a disappointment as its to slow for it and all that had the se that do fly harder converted it to the 3D.

From the sounds of how you like to fly I think you will like the 600se. Its smooth, stable and quite quick too. Not a lot to fault it on really at all

And the XXtreme is soooo worth it

Compass 7hv is ace, logo 600 is nice as well , if u want 700 size I'd go with the compass.

i am still no closer to making a decision i keep coming back to the compass 7HV but after adding it all up with some packs aswell its still coming out at about £2000 unless i go a bit cheap on the electronics. i have toyed with the idea of putting the normal align servos in it instead of the Futaba BLS156HV High Voltage but not sure if they are up the task.

thinking it might be worth waiting for the new rexy combo and see what the price is. but cant imagine its going to be a huge saving once i have bought the batteries.

It's never going to be cheap to start up as elec is all up front cost. HV if esc without bec if Jive really no need use the bec with a buffer and standard digital servo's running 5.2-6v. Torque is the key.

Running ds610s in mine and it's a gem. They are actually pretty decent for the cash. Just don't scrimp on the tail servo. Agree with the above though it's never cheap building a 700e. I kidded myself thinking I could do it for the price of the 600. How wrong was I!

If going commander and a reg to be honest just buy a Jive forget a reg and use the built in bec. Save you space, weight and better setup.

Also look at mini v bar great on electric.

Key to electric is keep it light, pays dividends on flight time.

does the jive power the servos just from the flight batteries ? or can i connect a separate battery to it like a reg, in case the main batteries fail for some reason.... ?
