  • Hi from Middlesex

Hi everybody. I have never flown a helicopter, and have just purchased an SH 8830. Not getting on too well with it yet, but intend to persevere.

    Welcome to the site.

Starting out is a steep learing curve but you will get there

      welcome mate
there are simulators to practice and improve your skills especially if you want to later move on and get yourself a 6 channel heli which is capable of doing 3d flying.you can buy the popular simulator called phoenic rc sim.

+1 to Mr. Brown. Sound advice.
Anyway, welcome to the fray that is the heli addiction. Perseverance, I'm told is the key, I'm still learning too, but getting there!!

          Hi mate
You will have to come to terms with the fact that you will crash at times but if you get as much practice on the sim as possible this can only save you money.

          Welcome and happy flying.

Welcome to the forum. Get yourself a simulator and start practising. Phoenix is the one recommended by most people on here.

              I agree with Dave.

If you keep you eye on the For Sale Forum on here you can pick up a Phoenix sim for quite a reasonable price, and you know it has been well looked after.
You just need to private message the seller and they should get back to you.
