    Raptor Thunder Tiger 90 - Need Help

    Hello,

    Looking for help on trying to connect up correctly my Thunder Tiger 90, the Voltage Regulator and Receiver.
    Just starting our to learn and picked up this one dirt cheap, but needs all reconnect as someone took it apart.

    Have the following components that are used on this Raptor:

    FS FlySky Radio - FS-TH9X (PCM 1024)
    FS FlySky Receiver - FS-R8B
    Align 2in2 Volt Reg - RCE-B6T
    Gyro - GY611

    Also what is a good battery to use? Currently have the following and not sure which is correct to use:

    LiPo 11.1v 1800mAh
    LiPo 7.4v 3600mAh
    Ni-MH 6.0v 330mA
    Ni-MH 6.0v 3700mAh

    Any photos of connection to Receiver - Regulator - Gyro would be appreciated or diagrams or links to find if no other help available. Have done some searching and can't find the right diagrams.

    With the align 2 in 1 reg you can use your lipo
    LiPo 7.4v 3600mAh
    that will be fine for an afternoons flying.

      Hi Paul,

      Thanks for the reply on the battery, can I use the 11.1v or the 6.0v at all?
      The only reason I ask is due to the 7.4 not in good shape and is getting blotted,
      need to replace that one as I think it is on it's last legs.

        HI Bill, Sorry you can't with that align regulator The 11.1 V will burn it out and the Regulator is set for 2S lipo so putting in only 6V from the NiMh cells would be to low and the red led would light,

        Best get a new 2s about 2000 to 4000mAh

          Hi Paul,

          Thanks again, glad I asked about those before I tried them. Guess its off to the supply shop for a new battery then, don't have any good 7.4v, will get 2 new ones for this heli.
