    Wind powered TDR

    As the wind had really picked up at the field today
    We thought we would have a bit of fun using a tdr as a wind turbine

    Whilst one was holding onto the heli, another friend was tweeting the pitch on his TX to get max
    HS
    I reckon we must have reached approx 1400 rpm
    From the 20 mph gust we had

      Is that field next to the M62 near Birch services by any chance?

      I could have sworn I saw a TDR (or similar looking helicopter) being flown there Monday dinner time just gone as I was on my way to Halifax from Bury.
      Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
      Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

        Yep it certainly is

        Yes it was a tdr flying there on Monday

          I was a passenger, so don't worry.

          I wish I'd been out flying. The whole week was way too nice for working.
          Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
