    MSRX - Tail rotor stopped working after 1 day!

    Hi. My new MRSX (first cp heli) arrived yesterday lunchtime. Flew it maybe 15 times over grass, spent most of the time picking it up of course .

    Went to lift off yesterday eve and tail rotor had stopped working. Visual inspection shows all looks good, connectors fine. Tried MSR boom into plug and doesn't work. Tried MRSX boom into MSR - works. Must be a board fault.

    Spoke to Gary at Horizon, very approachable. Not a problem they are aware of. Will now have to send back. Total bummer as I won't get it back til the end of next week and Im off all week - was hoping to fly it a lot.

    Have sniff around the top of the board, if it smells burnt its probably the tail motor FET that has failed. Normally occurs if the tail motor wires have shorted or if there is grass or hair wrapped around the motor shaft causing extra load on the motor.

    My experiences with HH have always been good and I expect you will find the same, so box it up and send it back
