    Second Flight Of Align T-Rex 500

    Today was the second flight for both of us. The battery's that we have are giving us about 7 mins flight time at the moment, we are obviously not pushing them that hard. We share each battery between us. Today's conditions were a bit more challenging than yesterdays. Light snow/sleet and a nasty little breeze with the ocasional gust. This actually turned out to be really good practice. I love the way the wind catches under the nose and lifts the Heli up. We are really starting to get a feel for it now.

    nice, slowly getting the hang of it. these vids made me decide to get my cx450pro back in into service (just need to find a place to fly) 500 are too expensive to repair ....mick

      You look really steady I think your good enough to take that a little higher, plus you will be out of the ground turbulence and find the heli a lot more stable and easier to hover.
      Be brave and lift a bit higher you will be fine by the looks of it.

        what twister says,allthough keep it at your own pace at the same time,doing well,i think by my second flight i had allready crashed about 6 times..lol...thats dedication to learning out in the cold,been there done it last year,went to the field today and it was just too cold,got back in the van and went home..lol..the two of yee will be flying about in no time

              I agree take it a bit higher now, but learn at your own pace, if younare carefull in training there is no need to bend a heli, i have flow flown and owned 450 and 500 flown a 600 and out of the 3 prefer the 500 but im sure if i owned the 600 i would push it more and learn to enjoy it more. But the 500 is a fab machine. But you really need to getbout of the ground wash try getting about 4 to 5 feet up next

                If you need a good starter 450 mate I'm selling mine.

                Getting there with the 500 though good progress.
