    HaHa ,would of thought futaba would of designed something a little less primitive looking than that ! does this mean the current futabas wont be getting inbuilt telemetery any time soon? Ill stick with spektrum or possibly a aurora 9 thanks

      IME telemetry is virtually useless and of little use/value anyway. I'll stick with my reliable Futaba thanks

        I agree, especially for helis. Maybe for some turbine jets it has its uses.

        BTW, they have a cable which plugs into trainer port of tx and interfaces with a smart phone via bluetooth as an alternative to the box. It works with all new 2 way receivers.
        I think there will be some mid-market radios coming with telemetry built in, but personally I can't be bothered, going to keep 8FG till it dies then buy 18MZ.

          Might be useful to give direction if you let it get too far away. Handy for gliders.
