Just wondering how everyone is getting on with the new mcpx v2 and how the 2 compare,
I for one am very happy with how the v2 flys right out the box, the head feels alot more locked in and precise and also tail seems to behave itself,, unlike the stock v1 tail.
only down sides i have come across with the v2 is the new tail gyro on the board, the old v1 gyro was an analog tail gyro so you coudl happilly make longer booms or add bigger rotors etc, iv heard the new tail gyro is a digital gyro so its basicly "set" to the new v2 tails that horizon sell, bit of a wounder but oh well the new tails are very good, you just gotta be smart and not load the heli up too much.
Also im not too impressed with the 30c eflite packs that come with the heli, how i fly it feels like they have no power. The very very best batteries for the mcpx, both brushless and v2, is them JP packs 250m 25c, but to me seem very powerfull for a 25c battery and i would recomend them to anyone, at £8.50 for 2! and its like £8 for one eflite pack its alot of power for not alot of money, around 4 mins constant 3d flying also
but all in all very happy with the v2, out the box wit weighted blades on, sweet little indoor/outdoor 3d machine, Expecially with the jp batteries,
