  • TotalG and backplate sensor!!

Just getting the tail and gov setup on my velo before it go's fbl but cant seem to get a signal from the speky sensor??
I had the magnet sensor on but at the weekend it was playing up and stooped working (was all still fine in the menu) so seen a sensor for sale on here and thought i would give it a go.

I used to have the backplate sensor on mine, until one of the wires broke, and didn't have any problems with it.

You may have to adjust the sensor distance from the backplate to get it to work properly. Also do you have anything else that you can check the sensor on so that you know it's working in the first place?

Tried it on the bench with a bit of metal at all distances and didnt get a light.
I only have a csm revlock10 left but thats a different type of sensor i think ?

I think there is a way to use direct 7.2 v lipo pore to the sensor which helps. From memory you take power black and brown wires off the higher voltage but leave the signal wire plugged in to the Total G .
This also works with V bar I think .

The backplate sensor does work with TG .

        Hope this helps a bit
