    New Speed Record

    A TDR just went 294Kph, that is 182.7MPH!!

    Holy crap! 200mph next?!? Only a matter of time I guess!

      Looking at that picture, it isn't easy to see whether that max speed is over the whole flight or if it is over a sub-section. If it is over the whole flight, there is a bit where it travelled down vertically from the highest point it reached to low level. This is probably where it reached its fastest and if that is the case, it isn't comparable to official high speed runs which are measured over horizontal stretches.

          A true test would be in both directions and the average speed is what is set.

              I think this flight is more about what speed the TDR reached, as aposed to a new world record attempt.

                  I know what you mean, but guess it is a record speed that has been recorded, but obviously not an official speed record.
