Can anyone tell me how hot can a brushless motor get. I have just flown my zoom and I can not hold my finger on the motor. It hasn't got a heat sink on it.

Mine does the same - does'nt seen to mind.
But I tend to fly 8 mins at a time with cool down periods .

That is a way of keeping the temperature down, I supose. I'm looking to buy a heat sinck for my motor. I think when flying outdoors the temp. isn't so high. Thanks for your reply Dave.

I tried a heat sinck on my motor and it makes a very big difference. Much cooler now!!!! Any one tried it? Have a look at my gallery.
