OK think I have found something.
Flashing Orange (yellow) means ESC is in logging mode.
Bleep every 20 seconds is just to notify you that the ESC is armed and on.

I'm off to fly then, watch this space.............

Any other advice much appreciated though as CC ESC's are new to me.

Have you set your throttle end points Malcolm?
ATVs need reducing to ensure the correct throttle settings.

I have an ICE2 80HV and cannot get the soft start to work. Have been through the beep codes afew times now but it just wont have it. Is this only settable via the CC link ?

The only problem I've had with Castle controllers is that I have always had to set the lower throttle trim down one click at a time until the esc arms i.e recognises my lower throttle limit. I always set mine via the castle link, had 3 esc's on 500's & 600's now, no other problems, I'm using Futaba 9c tranny btw.

Yep ive dont the travel adjusts to set the end points for the arming. Just can't get the soft start to work :-(

which heli are you using it in malcolm? Was hoping to pop down and see you over the weekend.

Get the programming card as that is a link as well and can also be used without software for some of the settings. Only about £4 more expensive.

450 pro with Scorpion motor. Had CC Esc and motor for ages but only just decided to use after blowing the Align ESC.

Getting my head around it but not used to so many functions. Align ESC is virtually plug and play.

Deep breath.....

Cut off the blue plastic from EC3 connector so I could plug an XT60 connector in and plugged in the battery the wrong way round.
Too lazy to change all of the XT60 connectors on the new batteries I bought. Teach me to be lazy.

Thanks Rob, managed to do end points once I got a manual and did a bit of reading up to find out it was necessary.
Align ESC might be cheap and cheerful but I can set those with my eye's closed.
Great for oldies like me.
Modern electronics too challenging for brains brought up on valves. If they didn't light up you changed them for a new one.
Don't ask what a valve is......

Let me know what you think of the castle creations esc, heard they have some amazing features on it.
