  • Screws for servo horn S9255 ??

I am trying to find the screws that hold the servo horns onto the spline shaft
for Futaba S9255 servos and I am totally baffled. Absolutely nothing I have
    fits these things!

I phoned Midlands yesterday and they suggested I phone Ripmax but I thought
maybe I'd post on here and see if anyone has some of these screws or know
what size and thread pitch the they are.

Don't know if 9255 is the same, would guess so.

It is smaller than m3, the screws I used in my 9255s were from a stainless screw kit for a 600..........

Yeah I tried the one that fits the BLS 251 and it wouldn't fit! Why they didn't just standardise
something like that is beyond me.

Well what's odd is I have tried everything I could get my hands on. The only thing I hadn't tried
was pulling out one of the crews on the Trex500 as those are a bit of an odd size compared
to my other helis. Everything I tried was either too big or too small.

                      Been there too trillian.

They are defo M2.6 screws - you can get replacements from model fixings. I think I bought some short M2.6 cap bolts when I needed them.

Just for grins I removed a screw from the tail of my 500 and lo and behold it fits! Now I know
why nothing in any of my parts boxes fit because the Trex 500 uses those and literally nothing
else I have uses 2.6. 'Should be a piece a cake to find now I know the size :-)
