All,
So Far I have managed to get the little s*d hovering (finally). However in doing so (with alot of hoping around) I have managed to bust the following;
prop shaft within the boom (that was fun replacing) like a hole in the head.
tail rotor cogs (plastic ones really dont last) even when greased up.
HP tail rotor cog - seems dumb having a metal cog on the motor and plastics either side (as I am now awaiting more parts to arrive before I can replace and attempt another flight.
My Question: Does anyone know if there are metal cogs for all the zoom400 (aftermarket) or from later models. as I am getting sick of just getting it trimmed and working then pow more parts needed (Protech are making endless money from me) without me even having big accidents. seems crazy !
Its getting to the point where I am now toying with the idea of upgrading to a Raptor (not only for the longer flight times) and the fact that its petrol..... but due to the fact that the parts are more widely available and quality appears to have been taken into consideration by the maker
Any hints tips or pointers WILL be greatly appreciated.
