    S9256 for GY611/601 only?

    hi
    Is it possible to use S9256 with other gyros like spartan and G770T?and if so how to do it?if not where to
    find some specs like impulse rates

    You can certainly use the 9256 with a Spartan DS760. I do.

    You just choose the servo you want from a very long list in the PC interface when you connect the gyro to your computer for setup.

    Simple as.

      Both ds760 and Quark support the S9256. If you use the PC software you just select it from the list or you can manually set the servo type to 760us via stick programming.

        ok i am looking for a well priced Quark but at the moment i have a s9256 and JR G770T.Got both 2nd hand and no word about any software or connection to Pc
        i did try using range of volts and types of power but never got any reaction from that servo.maybe faulty but again u can't test separated servo coz it works only with rate of impulses from gyro...so kind of useless form me unless i can tweak impulses so they match.....hopefully am wrong......

          The voltage makes no difference. The gyro needs to be able to supply the correct signal to the servo.

            The futaba 9256 is a narrowband servo and one of a small number of servos that operates on 760 rather than the usual 1520 so the gyro must support 760. A growing number of gyros do now but you must make sure that they are compatable otherwise the 9256 will not operate correctly. ;-)

              So if my G770T isn't software adjustable they won't work together?any solution?
