Hi guys, ive just changed fuels i thought i'd post my findings, On sunday i tried rapicon 30% in my ys56 powered velocity and was very pleasantly surprised.Previously i was using opti 30% slv which also is very good,
When i put the rapicon in i didnt feel the need to change the needle setting at all it just purred seemed less harsh than the opti i gave a fairly aggresive flight it was very windy too so i pushed it to my limited ablity my sketchy piro tik tocks didnt really load it up even in a 20mph gusting wind!,best of all when i landed the engine was luke warm much cooler than when on opti, you can hold the crankcase with no fear of ever burning yourself.I have used rapicon in the past maybe 2 or so years ago it was ok but not wow like it is now....something tells me they've changed the mix because its on par power wise with opti slv...well i thought so anyway.
Needless to say im very happy and will be sticking with rapicon, plus it works out slighty cheaper than opti per litre, and if im correct if you buy it a case at a time delivery is free?
