Again, stand down all HV 120 controllers.

About time too. Hopefully they will do something to look after the people who have lost/damaged their models as a result of the failures; it might go some way towards repairing their seriously tarnished reputation.

Long time overdue, shame it took a massive incident to realise. Still no word on the guys heli being replaced with a 700e barely recognisable let alone salvageable.

At least most of us still had airframes to replace parts on and recover he's just at a loss I couldn't imagine being in his position regardless what I've had to replace.

I still want compensation so will be forwarding my invoice to CC now.

                Hey.

I've posed the question about covering for the return postage costs, as I don't know how others feel about this subject but as the ESC's are now classed as faulty/unfit for purpose why should we have to pay for the postage costs?

I'm very fortunate in that I didn't pay full retail for mine, but many have, may also have broken models and are now expected to fork out more money to post the faulty items back for repair.

I am glad for cc users that they have issued a proper recall,I hope you all get sorted with nil outlay on your part and compo where applicable.

Can retailers still sell them then now this notice has been issued, and what about the Align combos?

This could get expensive and messy for CC.

Why not return the ESC's to the shop/distributer over here? It's the job of the distributer to look after this one, the end user shouldn't be responsible for sending it to the USA at their cost!

The thing is that it seems to cover the entire HV range at least.

I've had two HV160's go pyro....
