          Hi all
Went onto the outrage-blog site and then went through my kit,i have all the revised parts except for the boom supports, alu heads still and the revised front boom mount assembly(spoke to andy today and they dont have these revised parts yet) oh and i need another 2 tail push rod guides, other than that im good to go.I see KDE do a main shaft bearing upgrade for this model i used the KDE on my 700 but the supplied bearings look to be pretty good.Has anybody tried the edge fbl 713 on there velo, ive stuck with my radix 710.Once again thank you all for the replys im really excited about this heli, will start the build this week as im off and the weather is to p@@ to fly

had the 713's on my velo90 and actually just sold them today as ive been told that they are not as crisp so am going for the 690's they will be sufficient and nice to fly with if you dont do 3d

Niiice. Although a worrying trend is that you buy a really expensive heli and have to upgrade it before you even fly it. Is this really the case or just choice? I'm genuinely interested to know, not looking for a bun fight about Outrage or any other brand.

i flew 710s stickbanger on my old n9, flew fine, the track better than 690s IMO, just for smacking around u need to be a tad more gentle, only a tad tho, plus u get the added pop from that extra 40mm of blade and u can stop on the button

and use some synergy or align boom support ends, they are plastic, check that the carbon tube is the right dia. 1st tho dude

No need to upgrade the various parts with the velo 90
I'm using 710 spin blades on my with v-bar as the 710's seem to be more suited to my flying style but flys just fine and a bit more nimble with 690's on

Mine was a Jan 2011 kit and came with half the revisions.... it was recently they done even mroe revisions and they should come in the kit as per my previous thread http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/outrag...have-look.html as you have found out on the Outrage blog

The main bearing blocks are fine.. the same as every other heli. Works fine and can be replaced for less than £5.. rather than spending £54 on the KDE. The KDE thrusted just covers other directional movements, thus eliminating possible bearing wear due to slight vertical movement on standard bearings which they aint designed for... I would just stick with the standard ones and if any bearings wear.. you will have 10 replacement sets for the same price of the KDE

Ive not ran 710's, as since the start I asked about blade choices and decided to stick with 690's as they were stiffer You will love it.. as long as theres no problems with the kit like some of us had! It flies fricking great!

I am running one of the first kits, the only upgrade is a flybarless head and beast x, apart from the free upgrades, which were if i recall right, mainshaft, tail blade bolts, main gear although i am still running the original,
                        Cheers Del

                          Hi all
If i do have any build issues i now exactly where ill go for the answers, here! The reason i asked about the KDE was on my 700 the main shaft bearings didnt wear very well or to long so i replaced them,i have unfortunatly in the past been guilty of buying upgrades that didnt really improve flight preformance but rather the looks but now try only to upgrade if its worth while and quiet rightly so at that cost id rather go with the standard set supplied.Digging through my stash(hidden from wifey as you do)ive got a set of fbl 690 but ill start off with my 710.The set up ive gone for is v bar blue line express,os max 91 hz-r 3c,MKS HV 767 cyclics,MKS BLS-990 on tail,MKS STD DS1210 throttel servo,AR7100,NRG 3600Mah and good old align pipe,v blade on tail and radix710 on main, seeing that this is a relativly new model im trying some new servos with the v bar,so with out futher ado its time to start this build(well after ive dropped everyone off tommorow that is)I must also admit this forum has been so very helpful its much appreciated
                          Regards
