    jr dx9 charger

    hello everyone
    i have the dx8 which got knocked off a high shelf at home and has done a fair bit of damage to the tx,all the switches have been snapped off so not good,however ive been meaning to go jr for a while and i can get the dx9mk2 with battery only for 100 quid cheaper than tx+rx+charger.
    will the charger for the dx8 work for the jrdx9,cheers

    I use my JR charger on my DX7 and my DSX9. I am not sure of the battery type on the DX8 is the same as the 9 but if not I just purchased one of the new JR chargers from Inwoods for £12.99. (ni-mh).

      As far as I am aware you can,yes. At least this seems to suggest so MacGregor/JR Propo Wall Chargers available from all good MacGregor Stockists

          You need the JR charger, the DX8 one is just a 13v PSU not a charger that will work with the JR.

            Buy a JR charging lead and plug for about £3 and charge it using your regular battery charger that you use for LiPos etc.

              The DX7 and DSX9 are nominally 9v. I thought the Dx8, like the 6i was only 6 volt?

                  The DX8 comes with a power supply not a charger.
                  The charger is in the DX8 itself.
                  It knows what type of battery you are using and charges accordingly.

                  It cannot be used on a DSX9.
                  Align T-Rex 600n Pro (Now with 3GX)

                  Align T-Rex 450 Pro
                  T-REX 250, had it since crimbo(bloody tail) want to smash it with a hammer
                  T-Rex 700......STUNNING (Thirsty) (Now with 3GX)
