Its possible to turn the adapters (96117) around and use a 4mm bolt. Can you not remove the brass sleeve? some manufacturers allow this..rotortech + CYE. Check first though as some blades need the sleeve.

If that's a 4mm hole on that bush then I bet the bush diameter has plenty of meat to overdrill the bush to 5mm...it's only 1/2 mil each wall that look about 2mm thick

i'd drill it,but very carefully.perhaps use 2 drills of different sizes, looks like theres plenty of meat on the bushes

Another solution would be to get one of the brass sleeves with outside diameter of 5mm and inside diameter of 4mm and cut it into
little slices the width of the blade grips (or slightly less), so you can then use a 4mm bolt and a much wider choice of blades. :-) (this
is really the best solution all things considered)

I have a pair of Mavrikk 'patriot' carbons with a removable brass sleeve (I assume it's OK to remove the sleeve if it is not
permanently stuck in but it would be best to confirm this I suppose).

Thats a good idea..........didnt think of that!
would there be any concerns for "strength" though???????????

No problem with strength as long as you're using good 4mm bolts. My Robbe Futuras have 4mm bolts and they are 60 size helis
running 690mm blades. All the 50 size helis I have use 4mm bolts.

That's a point, the bolts....are their specific 4mm bolts to be used on the blade grips? I had 4mm bolts before and when I took them out they were bent....... Not normal??
